Marc Gervais, Executive Chef

Native of Gatineau (Quebec).

Marc has over 33 years experience in the kitchen. A graduate of the Hôtellerie de l’Outaouais School in 1988. He has worked his way up in different kitchen positions starting as a pantry clerk at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club.

His first position as a Chef was at the College de l’Outaouais in 1995. He then worked as the Executive Chef for the Algerian Embassy. He directed the kitchens for the Espresso Bistro and the St-Estèphe Fine Cuisine Restaurant before entering the challenging Hotel business at the Risotto, Pasta & Grill Restaurant at the Ramada Plaza/Manoir du Casino.

From 2012 to 2015 he was the executive chef at the Golf Le Sorcier. In 2009, he added  antoher feather to his cap by getting his diploma as a sommelier at the Cité Collégiale making him an accomplished chef. In fact, since August 2015 he’s a representative for Vins etc… who manages private imports.

He has been the executive chef at l’Huile d’Olive restaurant since May 2016.
