CROSS COUNTRY SKIING IN BLUE SEA

Cross-country skiing and nature enthusiasts will be enthralled by the 10 km of marked and maintained cross-country ski trails of the Blue Sea municipality. The parking lot is located one kilometre from the village centre on Cemetery road at the intersection of Lake-Long road. Six trails with difficulty levels ranging from easy to intermediate await you along with a charming little log cabin equipped with a wood stove.

VÉLOROUTE DES DRAVEURS

This bike path will lead you though our vast open spaces and scenic vistas. This 72 km véloroute des Draveurs is part of the Trans Canada Trail running through a variety of geological sites where flora and fauna are omnipresent. Once you approach the Municipalities of Blue Sea and Messines, you will be riding along the breathtaking Blue Sea Lake; many strategic rest-stops are featured along the way. 51 km of the trail are gravel dust.  21 km from Messines to Gracefield are paved. In the winter, the trail is used for snowmobiling
